The closing forms of the thesis internship, digitally signed, must be sent by email to the address biotecindamb@unimi.it 

Thesis delivery

1) A copy of the thesis must be sent ten days before the discussion, in pdf format, to the e-mail address of the Didactic Office biotecindamb@unimi.it, with the internal supervisor in CC. The title page must be digitally signed by the supervisor for approval.

2) A further copy of the thesis in pdf / A format must be deposited by April 14, 2020, by accessing the SIFA Online Services - Secretarial Services - Graduation application - Upload of the thesis. To create the file in PDF / A format, follow the instructions contained in the specific video tutorial (https://www.unimi.it/en/study/bachelor-and-master-study/graduation/submitting-thesis-and-works)

The summary of the thesis must be uploaded on the website www.riassuntitesi.scienzemfn.unimi.it by April 14, 2020.

Graduating students will receive by e-mail (on the institutional mailbox @students.unimi.it) the official call, containing the date and time of the session.

Communication to students

Dear students,

some of you are not able to receive the official communications via e-mail, because the UNIMI official account (@studenti.unimi.it) is “over quota”. Please remember to empty your mailbox periodically to free up space and to be able to receive new messages.

International courses of Italian language and culture

Please find as attachment the brochure about an interesting opportunity for international students; it is the possibility of attending a three-week Italian language and culture course in July and August, at the Palazzo Feltrinelli in Gargnano sul Garda. 50 scholarships covering all the expenses are available.

Graduation session in April: deadline postponed

Due to the Coronavirus emergency, the deadlines of the MB&B graduation session (April) have been postponed, as reported below.

Winter session (third session - second round) - a.y. 2018/2019

  • Final exams: from 20 to 24 April 2020 (postponed)
  • Online application for graduation: from 3/02 to 30/03/2020 (extended)
  • Graduand questionnaire completion deadline: within 30/03/2020 (extended)
  • Deadline for completing exams: within 31/01/2020
  • Deadline for submitting the internship completion form: the student must submit the end-of-internship completion form to the Teaching Office located in Via Celoria 26 - 2nd floor, A Tower, within the graduation application deadline *
  • Delivery of dissertation summary: within 14/04/2020 (extended) the summary of the thesis / final paper must be posted on the website www.riassuntitesi.scienzemfn.unimi.it starting 7 days after the closing date for the graduation application and within the deadline indicated. The procedure is accessed using the university credentials.
  • Online thesis submission in PDF/A format by accessing - from UNIMIA -> SIFA Online Services -> Administrative services -> graduation application -> Thesis upload: within 14/04/2020 (extended)
  • Delivery of 1 copy of the final thesis, signed by the internal supervisor, to the Academic Office: 10 days prior to graduation session
  • On the day of the final exam, students must deliver 1 signed copy of their final work to the Committee.

* Pay attention: the “End-of-internship completion form” must be digitally signed by the internal supervisor and submitted via email (biotecindamb@unimi.it).

Check the update on exams and graduation sessions. All teaching and training activities in class are suspended until 3 April, pursuant to the Prime Minister's decree of 8 March.

Smart working has been extended until 4 April. All events are cancelled until 4 April.

Distance learning

We are pleased to confirm, as you have already been informed previously, that on March 12, 2020 online courses will begin.  Instructions for the online proedurs will be given through the Ariel platform for each course.

Students and teachers participate in programme quality policies through regular monitoring and assessment activities based on indicators provided by the Ministry of Education (MIUR).

As Quality Assurance policies and procedures are student-centred. Inline with this the University has provided a training course divided into 4 modules for the students of the University.
