Soft skills
Soft skills are skills that are not tied to a specific occupational field, but can be applied across all professional careers. A typical example would be interpersonal and communication skills. Students can complement their academic studies with training in soft skills.
For the academic year 2024/25, the Master’s degree programme in Molecular Biotechnology and Bioinformatics has decided to recognise credits for the following soft skill courses that can be included in the study plan as elective activities (freely chosen activities):
- Developing soft skills in science: case-studies from microbial biotechnology
- Pari opportunità e carriere scientifiche
- Prevenzione e gestione dei conflitti ambientali: strategie e strumenti collaborativi
- Data visualization narratives
